Doc Intake 2.0

We revamped our Document Intake tool to allow for a more flexible page to entity association. As users progress through the document they can associate pages as to be ignored, as part of a Chase, an Invoice, or as a Pend without having to commit assignments until they've completed their entire document review. This empowers users to refine their document intake mappings without having to make hard-written page to chase associations at the initial point of assignment. It even shows you what pages you need to identify as you work the document.

New functionality includes: 



Working Pages
The Working Pages table is where preliminary chase ID to page type associations are, complete with page ranges that can be modified at anytime throughout the Document intake process  -- users can use the 3-dot action button to anchor to the page ranges that correspond to each association. Once a user is confident in their page associations, they can commit individual assignments or submit the entire record.


Committed Pages
The Committed Pages table captures the chase ID to page mappings, Invoices and Pends that the user submitted for Document QA or Medical Record Review. This can be done for each individual entry or when submitting the entire document. These assignments will persist throughout the life of a document and can be altered at anytime prior to Medical Record Review. 



Custom Views

We expanded custom view functionality to be available across the majority of our application. Users can customize their personal table views when working in Address, Document, and Chase grids. Furthermore, expanding this feature allowed us to improve the overall user experience by creating a more Basic view as well as allowing admins to create default team views for all users within their SO - without needing to setup one-by-one.

Basic Views

Until admin users create default grids for their SO, all grid pages will display a 'BASIC'. Each view will display a maximum of 10 columns to reinforce a cleaner, more legible view upon initial page load. 




Admin Default

When an admin user is in the process of creating a custom view, they can save that view as a default public team view that can be seen by all users within their SO.  





General Update

Tags
Users now have the option to filter Address, Document, and Chase grids by tags. 




Bulk Actions
We expanded our Bulk Actions modules to support the following Bulk change scenarios:

  • Bulk Add, Removal, and Replacement of tags across Chases and Addresses
  • Bulk Assignment, Hold, and Removal of Documents
  • Bulk Pend Actions that allow users to pend chases across clinical statuses
  • Bulk Pend Actions that allow a user to resolve a current pend and apply a new pend code in a single action

Provider Packets
We added Address ID to all provider packet footers generated from the application.

Member DOB Validation

Now the DOB field within the DE screen is a fully functional input field that is pre-populated based on member info. Users can change the input value if the DOB found in the medical record differs from what was originally passed as part of the member profile.

Contras (All prospective measures)
We moved the former 'Member expired  during 2020' exclusion into the Contra dropdown. All existing chases that included the member expired exclusion have been remapped to the corresponding member expiration contra.



Removals / Additions of Clinical dropdown Values

  • CDC:  Removed the 'Diabetic Exam completed previous year was for DR +' when selecting values within the NRC Eye Exam dropdown.
  • CIS:  Added a new value for flu vaccine when the vaccine is compliant on child's second DOB.
  • IMA:  Removed the duplicate "Services refused in measurement period" within the following NRCs:
    • NRC-Meningococcal
    • NRC-TDAP
  • PPC:  Removed the 'OB History or Risk Assessment' value from the visit type dropdown.
  • PPC:  Added the 'Documentation or Reference to Pregnancy' to the visit type dropdown.
  • WCC:  Added 'Meters' to the height units dropdown.
