Reveleer Release Notes
Thursday, November 16, 2023
With deep appreciation for the ongoing support and feedback from our hardworking and dedicated customers, Reveleer is thrilled to embrace the spirit of giving through several exciting new features and valuable enhancements. The November release has been carefully designed to enhance your platform experience, making it warmer and more welcoming this fall season.
Member Management
New! Platform UI Design Optimizations
Work Queue, Enrollment, and Provider now feature a more modern interface meticulously crafted for usability and efficiency. This upgrade offers notable advantages, such as enhanced action visibility and a concise design language that fosters a clear and more familiar feel, ultimately ensuring seamless interactions throughout your Reveleer experience.
Data Load
New! SFTP Data Load
For customers managing multiple projects simultaneously, there's an exciting new feature: you now have the option to utilize SFTP for uploading chases directly into the Reveleer system. This enhancement empowers you to perform bulk data loads effortlessly across numerous projects. If you would like to enable SFTP data loads for your organization, get in touch with your Customer Success Manager.
Update! Automatically Associate Chases with Third-party Vendors
When both Chart Action and Vendor is populated in the data load file, the vendor will now be automatically associated with the AID generated by the Reveleer system. A series of new instructional messages will be triggered for the following scenarios:
- Warning: The AID already exists with a retrieval type of EMR. It cannot be changed from EMR during data load.
- Warning: The AID already exists with a retrieval type of 3rd party but with a different vendor. It cannot be changed during data load.
- Error: Different chases within the same AID have conflicting vendors. All chases within an AID must have the same vendor.
Please note: the above item was withheld from the November release. Customer satisfaction and software quality remain top priorities.
HCC Analytics
Update! ICD-10 Annual Updates for 2024
Reveleer is pleased to uphold its unwavering commitment to maintain compliance and accuracy across its suite of solutions with the 2024 annual updates to ICD codes and risk adjustable codes. These updates are specifically aimed at ensuring the continued compliance of Encounter Data Processing System (EDPS), providing you with the assurance of seamless submissions.
Update! MOR Layout for Payment Year 2024
In response to the August 2023 PCUG release, Reveleer system configurations have been updated to accommodate new record types “M” that support the v28 model for payment year 2024. This update ensures the seamless processing of the Model Output Report (MOR) load file, preventing errors and providing a comprehensive verification process to guarantee data integrity and reliability.
Update! ACA Model Configuration for 2023
This release includes updated Affordable Care Act (ACA) model configuration data for Payment Year 2023. This update includes data enrichment for HCC Master, Diag-HCC crosswalk, CPT/HCPCS Risk Adjustment (RA) data, and Risk Score coefficients. These changes ensure that the ACA model is in alignment with the latest regulatory requirements, providing you with accurate and up-to-date information for payment year 2023.
Retrieval
Update! Automated Outreach Statements
Building upon the recently announced address validation feature, Reveleer is thrilled to introduce Phase II, which enables the automatic dispatch of statements to validated addresses. Automated statements will be set as the default “enabled” option but can be customized in the organization-level settings (Admin > Service Organization). This means that once a location has been validated, and a request is sent, the system will automatically initiate statement delivery as part of the follow-up process.
Update! Provider TIN Data Enrichment
Retrieval has become even more useful with the inclusion of Tax Identification Numbers (TINs). Commonly used data table layouts found within retrieval workflows, such as the Pends table, now feature a new “TIN #” data column that provides details of the Provider's associated Tax Identification Number when included during data load.
Clinical
New! Auto-close Pend Code (Risk)
A new project setting has been added that allows automatic closure of chases when EVE NLP identifies them as having no valid matches for HCC Codes. This setting can be customized at either the organization level (Admin > Service Organization) or the individual project level (Admin > Projects), providing you with enhanced control. Items that do not pass validation will be earmarked with pend code “1020 - Chase closed due to no HCC for validation”.
Update! EVE Evidence Enhancements (Risk, IVA)
EVE's NLP evidence has received an intelligent upgrade. In the medical record, matches for "Date of Service" and "Provider" will now be displayed alongside the diagnosis evidence, eliminating the need to view them separately. These useful improvements are now accessible within the Risk 2.0 and IVA 2.0 data entry workflows.
Please note: the above item was withheld from the November release. Customer satisfaction and software quality remain top priorities.
Update! Tracking Added for Invalid EVE Dx (Risk)
Introducing a valuable enhancement to data extracts. Moving forward, extracts will include a new update for EVE diagnoses that have been marked as “invalid”. Invalid EVE diagnoses will be assigned VRC Code 99 to help distinguish them from invalid Admin diagnoses, which receive VRC Code 39. This update simplifies data management and streamlines the identification of invalid diagnoses in your records.
Please note: the above item was withheld from the November release. Customer satisfaction and software quality remain top priorities.
Update! Dx Review Mode Enhanced Filtering (Risk)
Dx Review Mode now includes additional filtering options, such as HCC Code and ICD code per page. These filters are especially advantageous when dealing with multiple HCC evidence on a given page, allowing you to concentrate your attention on the corresponding evidence by simply clicking on a diagnosis page link. This update streamlines review, making the process more efficient and user-friendly.
Analytics
New! “SFTP Activity” Report (Risk, Quality)
The new “SFTP Activity” report provides you with a comprehensive view of all documents ingested via SFTP upload. This report includes essential details such as the number of pages, document folder name, user who created the file, user who updated the file, date of file creation, and vendor name. This feature empowers you with better visibility and control over your document management process.
Update! “Coder Productivity” Report Enhancements
The "Coder Productivity" report now features support for two new views: "Chases Completed by Coder" and "Pages Completed by Coder." With these simple but powerful additions, you'll have access to a more detailed and granular breakdown of coder performance, offering valuable insights right at your fingertips.
Update! “Coding Duration” Report Enhancements
Exciting new datapoints have been added to the "Coding Duration" report, providing a more comprehensive view of coding performance and productivity. These enhancements include:
- Median coding duration metric
- Median overread duration metric
- Chases coded per hour
- Chases overread per hour
- Top coders (highest productivity)
- Bottom coders (lowest productivity).
Update! “Clinical Productivity and Accuracy - Overall” Report Enhancements
A number of recent data enhancements have been implemented, including the addition of new columns that provide valuable insight, including the number of pends created by each coder, the number of encounters reviewed by each coder, user organization, clinician type, and total pages abstracted. These additions extend the report's capabilities, offering a more comprehensive assessment of clinical productivity and accuracy.
Update! Filter Enhancements for HEDIS Reports (Quality)
Introducing additional filtering capabilities for all applicable HEDIS / Quality Reports. With the latest update, three new filters have been added: “Date Range”, “Measure”, and “Users”. These filters were added to help refine results, providing you with greater control and flexibility in managing your data.
