APPROVAL CENTER ENHANCEMENTS
Ability to view Documents prior to Approval | Denial
The ‘Approve Documents’ page captures charts that have been matched to a chase via our automated bot scanning service BUT the destination chase already has a document attached and has actually progressed beyond Medical Record Review (MRR). Rather than automatically attaching additional pages to a chase in progress, we route these charts to the document approval center so they can be reviewed to determine their necessity related to data entry of the chase in question. Users have the option to APPROVE – create a pursuit child chase, or DENY – delete the document from the application.
As part of our effort to increase efficiency within the Approval Documents page, we added the ability to view the document prior to making a decision related to approval or denial. Now users can either click on the Document ID or the 3-doct action button to review the document within a new page viewer. Users will even have the ability to APPROVE or DENY documents directly from the document modal.
Added additional-informative columns to the Approve Document Grid
In our continuing effort to provide users with helpful information when making approve/deny decisions, we expanded the APPROVE DOCUMENTS grid to include the following columns:
- True Document ID – ID of the document as if it was being reviewed in Document Intake.
- Retrieval Method – How the document originally came into the platform/how it was received.
- Original Chase ID – The chase ID that the document was associated with as part of the automated scan.
- Chase Key – Client chase identifier.
- Sample Compliance – Compliance status to help determine approval/denial
- Project – Platform project related to the document in context.
- New Pages – The number of pages the new document consists of.
- Upload Date – The date that the document appeared within the application.

Invoice-Chase grid Improvements
We made some changes to the invoice-chases grid within the Invoice Module.
- We added new columns that can better help users to take action on invoice entries:
- Chase Status
- MR Pgs – Medical Record Page Count
- Invoice Pgs – Invoice Document Page Count
- And we removed some default columns that users didn’t find as helpful:
- Payment Type
- Payment Date
- Paid Date
- Upload Date
