Clinical Pends

Here is where you can manage all Clinical Pends. All fields can be filtered and sorted. Information can be exported. See Pend Dictionary for definitions.

Clinical Pends Page Overview

  1. These are the Chases that have been Pended. The Clinical Pends table contains the following information: Pend ID, Pend Code, Pend Severity, Pend Description, Measure, Owner, Assigned To, Pend Status, Chase ID, Address ID, AID Group, Invoice Company, Invoice Amount, Product, Address Group, City, State, Project, Creation Date, Last Updated, and Sample Compliance. Information can be exported.
  2. Access Pend Info: Click the Pend ID located in the first table column
  3. Create New View: Create a custom view of your table. Select which columns you want to show or hide.

 

Pend Details Page Overview

  1. Pend Info Tab: Here is where you can view details about the Pend, Member, Provider, and Address
  2. Comments tab: Here you can see all comments related to the Pend.
  3. Attempt History tab: Here you can see all contact attempts made since the pend creation.
  4. Documents: Here you can see all documents that have been uploaded to the pend. You can also upload documents. 
  5. Timeline: Here you can see a summary of the history of the pend.
  6. Update Pend: Here is where you can update the pends: Owner, Assigned to, Status, Reason, or add notes

 

Pend Info tab Overview

  1. Chase Pend info: This is key information about this chase. Here you can locate: Address ID, Assigned To, Chase ID, DOB, Measure ID, Member ID, Member First Name, Member Last Name, Pend Owner, Pend ID, Pend Code, Severity, Project, Status, Chase Key, Provider, Provider Phone Number, Provider Fax Number, Group Name, Address Grouping, Address, City, and State
  2. Document Requests: Here you can see all pursuits associated with the pended chase
  3. Latest Comment: This displays the latest comment regarding this pend, who left the comment, when and what time
  4. Latest documents: Here you can see all documents uploaded to this Pend.
  5. Pend Timeline: This is a brief history of this Pend. It is organized by date, newest to oldest. All timeline entries include the Action taken, User, Date, Time. Click See All for full history, or click Timeline tab
  6. Update Pend: Here is where you can update the pends: Owner, Assigned to, Status, Reason, or add notes

 

Leave Comment

  1. From Comments tab
  2. Enter comment
  3. Click Send Message

 

 

Pend Resolution

Pend Resolution Via Clinical Pend Table – Chase

  1. Locate Chase ID on the table
  2. Click the 3-dot action button to the right of the table
  3. Select Change Status
  4. Select New Status: Resolved
  5. Write notes about Pend 
  6. To finalize, click Update Status
  7. To cancel, click Cancel



 

 

Pend Resolution Via Clinical Pend Table – Multiple Chases

  1. Using the checkbox, select 1 or many Chases
  2. Select Change Status
  3. Select New Status: Resolved
  4. Write notes about Pend 
  5. To finalize, click Update Status
  6. To cancel, click Cancel



Pend Resolution Via Pend Info Tab

  1. Click the Pend ID located in the first table column
  2. Click Update Pend
  3. Select New Status: Resolved
  4. Enter Notes
  5. To finalize, click Update Pend
  6. To cancel, click Cancel





 

Change Pend Owner & Assign

Change Pend Owner & Assign Via Clinical Pend Table – Chase

  1. Locate Chase ID on the table
  2. Click the 3-dot action button to the right of the table
  3. Select Change Owner & Assign
  4. When prompted, select New Owner
  5. Select New User
  6. Enter Notes
  7. To finalize, click Finish
  8. To cancel, click Cancel



 

Change Pend Owner & Assign Via Clinical Pend Table – Multiple Chases

  1. Using the checkbox, select 1 or many Chases
  2. Select Change Owner & Assign
